About the Founder

  • Julie (Reizes) Baritz, the founder of The Award Strategy Company, is a distinguished Creative Awards Strategist and Brand Communications Expert with over ten years of experience helping prominent brands gain recognition in advertising and entertainment. Her strategies have facilitated successful award submissions for clients such as Netflix, Chipotle, Nike, Doritos, and Old Navy, resulting in more than 400 prestigious awards—including honors from the Emmys, Cannes Lions, Webbys, and Effies.

    Julie’s career includes leadership roles as Head of Creative Effectiveness at GALE and Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where she developed category strategies and oversaw award submissions for significant creative campaigns. Previously, she was the Director of Creative Services and Marketing Communications at Observatory (formerly CAA Marketing), directing public relations, creative awards, and communications for agency clients, which enhanced brand-building efforts while demonstrating her prowess in storytelling and strategic alignment.

    Julie earned an MFA in Film & Digital Production from Boston University and graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College.
